The brief
A 30-year-old Pietermaritzburg supplier of packaging, farming, and safety equipment needed to move online — without losing the depth of catalogue, the supplier relationships, or the local knowledge that made them the trusted name in their corner of KwaZulu-Natal for three decades.
What we built
A full ecommerce store on our custom platform — product catalogue across multiple verticals, online ordering, and a back office that respects how an established wholesale-and-retail business actually runs. Hosted on Cloudflare's global edge for sub-second loads from anywhere in South Africa, billed in rands, with no transaction surcharge on top of the gateway.
The result
The longest-running production deployment of our custom ecommerce platform. A three-decade-old business now sells online without giving up control to Shopify or paying for a stack of marketing apps. Other South African retailers — including Cell Trader and Bargain Home — are joining them on the same platform.
